Len graduated from Columbia University in 1985 with a degree in English Literature and obtained his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989. Upon graduation, he began his career as a Labor Relations Attorney for Pan American World Airways, Inc. and continued to work there until the company went out of business in 1992. Len then began his governmental career in 1992 with the Town of Oyster Bay, and has served in a variety of capacities for the town, including roles as Deputy Town Attorney and as Special Counsel to the Supervisor. Between 2001 and 2010, Len held the position of Deputy Town Supervisor. As of December, 2010, he took a new position within the Town of Oyster Bay as Town Attorney. He continues to hold that position while serving the firm’s clients.
Len has been of counsel to a major Long Island law firm from 1994 through 1999. Since 1999, he has had his own practice which specialized in land use and planning, real estate, and commercial transactions.
Len is President of the Nassau and Suffolk Chapters of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Executive Director of Athletics & Academics Equal Success, and a former board member of The Long Island Sports Commission and The Frank McGuire Foundation.
